Demo of how you setup Creation Kingcut CT630 / CT1200 Vinyl Cutter on PC when you use USB cable and Artcut 2009 Software. Does anybody know where I might be able to find the driver for a Creation P-Cut CR630? My PCUT CR630 won't detect usb driver: nuataro: Vinyl Cutters.

The Creation CR630 and CR1200 vinyl cutters are very similar. The CR630 is a 24″ cutter while the CR1200 is a 48″ cutter. Aside from the difference in length, the CR1200 also has an extra stepper motor to drive the sand roller and it has some additional pinch rollers. There are 3 places where we need to verify setting so that your cutter communicates properly. These 3 places are the cutter itself, the device manager and in the cutting program. Step 1 – It is always a good idea to start by resetting the cutter. This will purge anything in RAM.

The plotter won’t cut unless the screen says on-line. With all that done you should be ready to use your plotter.

Step 5 - Now that you have a device driver installed for the cutter and the cutter shows up as a COM port under the COM & LPT ports (expand the menu tree if needed to see the COM ports) we will need to update the settings. Right click on the COM port which is your cutter. Select “Properties” and then select the “Port Settings” tab. The port settings should be as follows: Bits per second: 9600 Data bits: 8 Parity: None Stop Bits: 1 Flow control: Hardware Change the settings as needed to match above. Usually, all you will need to update is the Flow control setting.

Repost from other thread - since there's other discussions going on: -- I just purchased a PCUT CT630, and having some troubles. I set it up according to the instruction, used the driver provided. I'm using ArtCut, which came with the CT630, Windows 2000 SP4, USB interface. Here are my symptoms: From the artcut, I click on 'Cut/Plot' button and the CT630 starts to plot few lines. But, about 2 seconds later, the blade holder goes all the way to the left, pushes the red button, and I get a message 'Waiting' displayed on the small LCD screen.

I bought a cto630 creation and managed to make cutouts in vinyl normally. However, I can’t do the alignment of the laser for cutting and contouring by flexi The company that sold it to me said that it has a specific software to work with this plotter, but he sells and doesn’t even know the name And said that with the flexi has no way to align the laser, only the tip of the needle, which makes it almost impossible to make contour cuts. They could inform me that I must purchase software to get work doing this contour cutting plotter? How do I adjust the laser?? CTO630 START UP PROBLEMS I was wondering if anyone can help with a couple of things. I received the cutter yesterday, the first issue is i cannot slide the rollers left or right, both rollers are stuck on the left hand side and won’t budge at all?

When the blade holder is pushing the red button, nothing works, as I (attempt to) physically move it towards the centre again, the CT630 resets. I used 'Test' button in Artcut, the plotter draws a circle/square and the the blade goes all the way to the left again, same thing happens.
